Intern Duties
Each intern works as a member of a field team. A field team is a group of individuals that agrees to work together under the approval and policies of IberoAmerican Ministries (IAM). Outlined below are the main duties expected of IAM Interns.

Reconcile Individuals to Christ
Carry out the primary business of the mission, which is the reconciliation of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking people throughout IberoAmerica to God, and to one another, through Jesus Christ.
Create a Support Base
Seek prayer support and funding from a variety of individuals and churches to carry out the internship.
Communicate with Supporters
Report regularly and meaningfully with your supporters, IAM Board Members, and IAM Directors, both directly and through the IAM Office.
Maintain Financial Accountability
Submit monthly financial reports of ministry expenses to the IAM Office.
Remain Spiritually Accountable
Be accountable to the field team and the field Team Leader. If an intern’s conduct is questioned or an accusation is brought up to the team, it is immediately communicated to the Team Leader. The leader then meets with the intern and clarifies the situation based on biblical guidelines. The Team Leader is responsible for communicating with the Board for counsel and accountability.
