You've been planning for months and now the day is here! Don't leave for the airport with that nagging feeling that you are forgetting something. We've compiled a list of things to for you to remember before you head out the door on the big day.
Travel List
- Passports
- Notarized permission letters for minors traveling with one or no parents
- Visa if required
- Cash (crisp bills are recommended) for airport and entrance/exit fees as needed
- Bag weight limits checked and confirmed
- Sun screen, based on time of year
- Medicine (including basics such as aspirin/pain-relief medicine, Band-Aids, etc.)
- Camera with extra batteries or charger and memory cards
- Electric current converter appropriate for the country
- Supplies accounted for
- Emergency phone numbers for the entire team
- Contact numbers for IberoAmerican Ministries (IAM) Office and in-field Team members
- International calling card(s) for emergency needs
We recommend that you do not bring laptop computers with you. There are many different ways to access email in-country without you needing to bring your own computer.
