Since 2003 the vision has grown among IberoAmerican Ministries (IAM) Workers and the Latin American church to work among Unreached People Groups. These are people who live in lands primarily located within the 10/40 Window, where the Gospel has never been heard due to various reasons. Because of the sensitivity of serving in these regions, few details can be shared on our site.

The primary goal of IAM Teams in these regions is to build relationships with people by adding to their communities through humanitarian aid, building, and business-development assistance. Latino workers are trained alongside other IAM Workers to enter as teams into these unreached communities of our world.

Recent Developments
Work began in 2004 on a new women’s development center in one of these countries. It has been a global team effort, and now the center works with the local government of the region where it resides. The center provides the skills and opportunities women need to provide for their families and move them closer to a more hopeful future. By training women in cottage industries, literacy, computer basics, and English classes, the IAM Teams are helping to empower these women for the first time in their lives.

Business as Mission
Many opportunities exist to bring light to the nations through the development of new businesses because these projects open many doors into both emerging and struggling communities. IAM is committed to developing opportunities for business through training and assistance to locals in these areas, thus enabling and equipping them to pursue a new life while exposing them to what it means to truly live as Christ lived.

We invite you to strategize with us on creative methods and means to carry out this work and to share modern business practices with people who are hungry for the knowledge. We want to meet these needs and, at the same time, develop projects in which few funds are needed to sustain these teams.
